Description

We are looking for a talented 3D Environment Artist to help create immersive, highly detailed game worlds and VR environments. You will be responsible for crafting realistic landscapes, cityscapes, and interiors while ensuring models are optimized for performance in Unity and Unreal Engine.

Responsibilities:

• Design and model high-quality environmental assets, including buildings, terrain, vegetation, and props.

• Create optimized, modular assets for efficient level design and seamless integration into game engines.

• Develop PBR textures and material shaders for realistic surface details.

• Work with level designers and technical artists to ensure assets fit within the overall world design.

• Optimize polygon count, LODs, and draw calls for efficient rendering.

• Create terrain features, foliage, water, and atmospheric effects using procedural generation tools if necessary.

• Work within performance constraints to ensure assets function smoothly on target platforms.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, or similar modeling software.

• Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine and level design workflows.

• Strong understanding of PBR materials, UV mapping, and texture baking.

• Ability to create realistic and stylized environments with artistic composition in mind.

• Experience with SpeedTree, Quixel Megascans, or similar tools is a plus.

• Knowledge of procedural generation techniques for landscapes is a bonus.

• Ability to work within a team-based, collaborative environment.
